With running a business, I don't get out on the water as much as I'd like. I have two buddies in Maryland. I'll go down twice a year, usually first time in April, and 2nd in November. Stay for 2-3 days. One day I'll go out with one and we'll troll, and the next I'll go with the other and do some light tackle. Which do you prefer? Usually trolling we've got the tangibles and umbrella's with 6" & 9" sassy shad, and light tackle, we're usually using a 4" or 5" shad. Last fall we caught over 100 rockfish in 4 hours doing light tackle, and the day before caught over 30 rockfish trolling, and one big ass eel. Can't wait to get down there in a little over a month!
