utah to Aspen

I am going to be moving from ogden ut to Aspen co. in a few weeks and would like to know of the fishing oppurtunities in or around the area. I am an Avid trout fisherman and have been for years. I also love icefishing. Any info would be greatly appreciated<br><br>

Access is limited, but my experiences on the Roaring Fork have been good. There's also good fishing on the Frying Pan upstream of Basalt about 45 minutes to an hour from Aspen. Stretches of this water are catch and release (the catch and release might only be for rainbows).<br><br>
