Striped Bass (Rockfish) in the Potomac River
#1
I just got involved in the Striped Bass (Rockfish) fishery a couple of years ago. It took some getting used to, and it wasn't cheap to get all of the hardware necessary to troll a 9 rod spread. It's well worth it, though! I caught my biggest fish so far in Fall 2012. It was 28 pounds and 42 inches. It was a serious chunk of bass!

As I continue to learn the tricks of the trade, I'm posting information to help others get started as well. If you're interested in catching Striped Bass (Rockfish) on the Potomac River, then please visit my Potomac Rockfish Blog at http://potomacrockfish.com.

This information is useful not just in the Potomac River, but also throughout the Chesapeake Bay.

Good luck and Tight Lines!
