Another Screw up- this weeks seminar is listed as April 14th, actually it's on Saturday April 13th.. Sorry
Best Bites
Striped Bass - We heard more reports this week from the Connecticut River with schoolies being caught at the DEP Pier and the Causeway and near the Goodspeed in East Haddam. We even got a report of gannets in the River mouth early in the week. I still think these are winter hold overs and not migrating bass. Not too much is being heard from the Thames and a lot is being heard from the Housatonic. This coming week we should start seeing some migratory bass in our area and even the West Wall in Pt. Judith. NJ has had migrating bass for over a week.
Blackfish - We've been selling crabs for a week but have yet to get back a first hand report.
Flounder - We had a report of a flounder caught at Bluff Point

Apr.13 - Surfcasting 102 - Pat Abate - Beginning and advanced techniques for getting started in the right direction with a simple approach to fishing and catching with your feet on the ground. We've enhanced our previous surfcasting seminars to take your game up a notch.
April 28- Saltwater Fly Fishing School - Lou Tabory, "Q" Kresser
A full day of learning the techniques and tricks of saltwater fly fishing both in classroom and on the beach with hands on instruction from experts. Fee is $150 and includes lunch.
