Gorge Report
#1
Spent Thursday and Friday fishing the Gorge, weather was a little dicey with the cold front, windy all day but no rain, launched at Sheep Creek but nothing was biting, water was clear as the cold temps. halted whatever run-off there was.

Ran up lake and hit Carter Creek, water was clear but no bites, ran into N. Skull Creek to get out of the wind and the three of us starting nailing all the 14-16" Bows' you could handle, lots of fun but not the ones we were after, it did save the day though as the weather sucked.

Friday the weather was perfect, started out at Sheep Creek and nailed a few quick ones, my buddy got a nice big Bow'. Ran up to Jarvies and located a school of spawners, sat there the rest of the day and fished them, we probably ended the trip with 60 fish or so, great to get out!!

Only lures used were 1/4 oz. Brown and Orange Marabou jigs and 1/8 oz. White tube jigs tipped with worm, casting and slowly jigging back to the boat.

Thanks for the great report. Did you have to stop at the Wyoming port of enter to have your boat inspected even though you launched on the Utah side?
