Hey there Tubers,
Hansen Dam Lake will have a trout and float tube derby on Dec 6th from 7am to 1pm. This is a free derby but they will take any donations so that they can purchase more fish for the derby.
There will be 2 trophys in 2 different classes for the largest fish. The 2 classes are 12-15yrs old and the 16 on up class. Only registered angleres can fish that day and the lake will be closed for two days after planting prior to the derby.
DFG rules will apply as far as license and limits. DFG will plant catchable size trout and a private vendor will plant a couple of 28-30 inch rainbows as well.
