Dumb question time
#1
Ok, Today I was crossing over Cross River Reservoir in Upper Westchester County and noticed out of the corner of my eye a splash near a small duck in the water. I turned my head just in time to see that duck become lunch for something big, there are Largemouth Bass and Tiger Muskies in there, what do you think??? I don't fish the reservoirs due to the tighter regulations but I am intrigued as to what ate that duck.

I guess even carp will eat duckling. Could be worse

This was the first picture that I saw of a duck eaten by a bass, I tend to think it was a bass, I can't find anything about tiger muskies though.

So after some research it appears that Largemouth Bass and Tiger Muskies will both eat ducks if they are hungry enough, small muskrats also. So back to square one. Hmmm.

I can't imagine a Bass getting a duck down unless it was a chick but wouldn't be surprised if a musky did.

FG, Too funny on the video!!! [Image: surprised.gif]
