I live nowhere near the ocean so sports/tackle stores near me have a real limited selection of tackle to look at. I normally live in West Africa and am in the states until this summer. I have gone in with a couple of friends and purchased a home-made wooden canoe/boat in Africa with a ten horse motor. We don't go out further than a mile or so. We typically are after Barracuda. What kind of tackle do you recommend? I hear that Rapalla Magnum 7" are excellent. What type of reel, rod, line test,etc etc. can you recommend? I need to buy this stuff before I go back because once I'm there it's literally impossible to buy stuff. Thanks! JM<br><br>
