Vancouver Island Salmon & Halibut Report

Well some of the best fishing of the year is happening right now for large Chinook salmon (kings) The weather has been awesome with daytime temps around 75 F, sunny and flat water. Not only are there Chinook but we have seen a good number of 4-5 pound Coho (Silvers) and we have been releasing a few sockeye as well. (they aren't open yet) Here are a couple of shots taken yesterday and today both fish went 31 pounds. These are the larger ones we took the last two days
