Up with first light this morning and started fishing the docks and rock structures when I noticed that bass were chasing shad out in the middle of the river. Moved the boat out into the calm water and started chucking a top water... slayed em! The river was down to its lowest point this week. I noticed that the fishing was much better in 5-7 feet of water where there was structure near the shore and sand and shell bottom. No big fish, but fun.
