Made the trip up to Gorge to get my boat out of dry storage this weekend. We left SLC on Sat am and got to Gorge around 10. 1st thing I noticed was the large Linwood floatilla. 12 maybe 15 boats all clustered on the Mac spawning grounds. Was real tempted to float the boat but decided against it. Instead we set up camp over on swin beach and fished from shore. Caught a couple of real nice rainbows on powerbait. Decided to take a ride over to Anvil. Didnt catch anything over there. No problems getting the boat out and back to SLC. No ice, water wasnt as cold as I thought it would be but didnt get a actual temp. Still time for you guys that jig to get up there and try for a big fish. We talked to fish and game and he said he saw a 38lb come out Saturday morning. KK
