We had a great few days down on FishLake last weekend. Did not do a lot of fishing but did some. The Pearch wer verey plentiful we actually got pearch up to about 11-12 inches. The larger perch came form the East side of the lake. I bet at one time I had 100 pearch under my float tube just off the FishLake Lodge Marina. Pearch were all caught on small jigs tipped with worm or pearch. It seamed that yellow, chartruse or glow were the best colors for jigs.
Rented a boat and went out sunday for bigger fish and did not have much luck trolling or jigging until the wind cam up in the afternoon. Than my neice seamed to have the hot stick. A 2" grub in glow just off the bottom and she put 2 Splake in the boat one about 14" and one some where inthe 24" range and about 3lbs.
The guy at the marina said that all the Splake and Lakers are holding right on the bottom this year. Did not take electronics but the water temps were pretty warm for that lake this time of year.
I will post some pictures up when I get home form work this evening.
