Took the new canoe out on Alexander. Water is very low right now for those who don't know, but the catfish are still biting. Didn't catch anything big, but still had some luck.

Congratulations on the new ride and the fish. From what I saw of Alexander the last time it was pretty much just river in the upper end. Were you fishing down toward the dam?

Yeah I worked the water between second bridge and the dam. I had more luck closer to the dam.

Not this time. I wasn't really targeting them, but I'm surprised I didn't hook at least one.

Went out again last night and had some luck. Caught a lot of small cats and two 3 pounders. Worms seemed to be the hot menu item this time.
