The Cabela's Prodigy Spinning Reel MG30 casted far with ease and was one of the smoothest reels I have ever used. This is due to Cabela's using 11 stainless steel bearings and a sealed instant anti-reverse roller bearing. The low price point for this reel is what is surprising to me. It's better than some reels that cost twice as much. I use this real from catching small bass in the river to catching catfish out of a lake. It is a very versatile reel that can be used for almost any species of fish. All components of this reel were made with quality parts. This rod can handle tons of use with its Aircraft aluminum gears, titanium coated roller Magnesium frame and the carbon-fiber drag system washers without failing on the fisherman. I would recommend this fishing reel to any of my fellow fisherman.
