Halloween Fishing on Mead
#1
10/31. Launch from Callville. Beautiful day, water temp about 68°. Almost flat conditions. Visibility about 12 to 15 ft most places. Only 2 bass boats in the parking lot. We fished a lot of different spots upstream a bit from Callville for no results. Main lake all the way to back of coves...

Mid afternoon pulled one from about 20 ft off an Arizona side wall on a drop shot; then at dusk two fish around Fire Bowl Cove from the grass. One jig and one senko. Fish were burrowed in the grass on chunk rock but not steep shore. Maybe cold front action?

And the BOAT action? Clutch finally gave it up and started majorly slipping...$1400 for new assembly and pedal bushing replace on the Toyota. :-(
