This week on Ocean Kayak's Kayak Fishing Show, Jim Sammons hooks up with long-time friend and owner of Ketchikan Kayak Fishing Howard McKim, for a remote kayak fishing adventure deep in the wilderness of Alaska.
Dropped off on a remote island to camp for a weeklong kayak fishing adventure, the guys must not only battle the huge halibut and lingcod, but the extreme Alaskan weather as well. The anglers take shelter as intense wind and rain pound their island, and then race out to their kayaks with every break in the weather. Although grueling, their battle with the elements pays off, as they catch countless halibut and some of the biggest lingcod that Howard has ever seen.
