The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife reminds anglers that the annual Trout Stocking Meeting at the Pequest Trout Hatchery will be Saturday, February 16 at 10:00 a.m. This is an excellent opportunity to ask questions, voice opinions, and give suggestions regarding the trout stocking program.
Freshwater fisheries biologists will present information on trout production at the hatchery, as well as spring trout allocations. In addition to trout program updates, results of the Statewide Trout Telephone and Online Angler Surveys will also be presented. If you are a trout angler and haven't participated in the telephone or on-line survey there is still time to help shape the future of New Jersey's trout program!
