That looks like a Green Sunfish . Which still destroys any current records , but is that not a sunfish ? there is no RED and that ear . Did that thing come outta Barry Bonds Biogenisis pond ? cmon

Most definitely a redear. Once dead, the red washes out of that gill spot fast.
