Strawberry Alive and well
#1
My friend and I were out at strawberry this week on Thursday. We had to cancel a trip to Flaming Gorge, so we decided to fish at Strawberry. We were in about 10 feet of water 5 minutes after dropping down bam! 25" 6lbs13 oz. cutt. It was about 8 am.
We were concerned about ice conditions but after drilling about 2.5 feet of ice and setting up our tent we were good all day. the fishing was very slow till we left about 5:30 Pm. Three fish between the both of us. it snowed about 4 " through out the day.
We will be there again soon.

White jig tipped with a piece of wax worm.

That is a great looking fish! You can put up with slow fishing when you score one like that. Way to go![Smile]
