I just received a FB notification from Sharon at the Alpine motel that Lake Cascade has potentially unstable ice and shorelines are going very fast. Need planks to get out at least 8-12' long.
Sharon asked me to post this up as she indicated some folks from this area have made reservations for next week and unsure if they are coming up to Cascade to ice fish. Some areas of Cascade per reports I'm reading on another forum have shorelines open enough to fish from shore.
Anyone headed to Lake Cascade specifically to ice fish I recommend you contact:

Tackle Tom also has a FaceBook page and has been posting pictures of access points and lake conditions. Doesn't look good so again recommend you call for updates on ice if you are planning a trip to Lake Cascade specifically to ice fish.
