Got invited out by a friend, which is a treat as I rarely get off the shore. Left out of echo around 730, fished till 4ish. It was a slow start, we headed north on the West Bank, and about midday switched over to search the coves on the east side. Once we moved, we started finding some bass and some beds. Got my first smallmouth ever! and had a large (4-5 lbs) largemouth throw the hook in the air. Also saw a VERY large largemouth female that wanted nothing to do with anything we threw. All in all, a great learning experience for me, and a great day to be "sick" (::cough cough:
