i'm pretty sure it was you that posted a question awhile back about an old rifle that was loaded thru the butt end of the stock .
the era i thought that they were manufactured was during the rosevelt years , wrong !
it was during the mc kinley years in office, the rifle was a "spencer rifle ".

it was actualy manufactured during the lincoln era.

manufactrued in the new englend area, Mass, I think.

it was used by both the north and the south.
