The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) in Eastern Ohio is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio responsible for management of a system of reservoirs for flood reduction, conservation and recreation. Piedmont Lake is located in Belmont and Harrison counties, near Piedmont, Ohio, accessible by I-70 and State Routes 800 and 22. Piedmont Lake is well known for its monster muskellunge and catfish, as well as a variety of other species. The MWCD operates the only marina located on the lake. Piedmont Marina offers boat rentals, service, supplies, docking, and a restaurant. The marina maintains more than 80 campsites in a quiet, secluded bay. Electric hookups are available, as well as a limited number of full hookup sites.
The MWCD is seeking a marina manager to handle day-to-day operations, including staff management; docking, campground, and restaurant operations; and retail sales, with a strong emphasis on customer service. Experience in marina operations, park operations, and/or business management required. An associate's degree in business administration is generally required; 4-year degree preferred. Competitive wage and benefit package including membership is the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.
