Fished the Nelle last night for two hours or so. Weather was a little questionable but ended up working out ok for us. Fishing was ok - Between 3 of us we caught 8 bass and 7 trout, all on soft plastics. Color didn't seem to matter and all spots yielded same results. We didn't go up the arm, fished around and north of the docks from Hailstone.

Was the size decent?

Bass size overall was probably between 8-12 inches. The trout were a lot of fun -- we had a few come in at close to 18 inches. With our usually tactics and fishing shallow, we don't usually get the trout coming out to play but they definitely were last night.

We caught fish all over in the two coves to the north of hailstone. That's where I'd go if I was going to toss from shore.
