Penn 340 and 345 GTi

In my reel repair business I see lots of Penn 340 and 345 GTi's with corrosion problems. Have others had the same experience? They seem to be good reels otherwise.<br><br>Taku Reel Repair<br>Juneau, Alaska<br>(907) 789-2448

But the fact is, 340s and 345s seem to have more problems than other Penns -- which, I agree, are excellent reels. My theory is that people don't tighten the two long screws on the case which lets water creep in.
