Yuba 9-13
#1
Didn't reach the lake until about 11. Water was calm. There plenty of anglers and also recreational boaters.

I used one rod to cast for northerns and had another rod rigged with a nightcrawler. Ended up catching three carp on worms and had no success with pike. We did not see anyone else catch a fish of any kind.

We got off the lake about 4 p.m.

Water temp was 69. The lake was low, but launching was not a problem at the Oasis ramp. I have a 22-foot boat.

Does anybody know if you can launch at painted rocks?

You cannot launch at Painted Rocks. They have buoys blocking the painted Rocks area that say no boats are permitted. Water depth at the buoys was about 4 feet and they were still a long way from the Painted Rocks ramp.
