Just moved back to southern cali (ventura) from utah, missing my trout fishing, heard the kern river is pretty good, anyone else fish it, if you have any info or want to go please pm me, i need to get out into some nice trout!

Yeah just last week, have some stuff i need to take care of, ill be back to utah at least to fish we will have to get out, thanks for all your help and great times fishing!

The Kern River is a pretty good place to wet a fly. Lots of boulders to maneuver around if you are a wader. The further up river you go, then there are some good wading spots.Stop in at the Kern River Fly Fishing Shop located in town. Good luck.

Thanks just did some looking around today up in the mountains by me looking at sespe and matilija creeks but didnt find much water, looks like the kern is going to be my best bet!
