Tips for Taking Kids out Trout Fishing
#1
Made a how to video that I'm sure most of you are familiar with, but if anyone is searching for a way to get kids into trout this is a good one. Made this up at Big Bear Lake and the fish are starting to move to the East side of the lake. Most fish were still on the small side and one decent one at 15 inches. The larger fish should continue to move east as the weather cools down. The weeds have started to die off and the water clear up. Fish were hitting near bottom 12-20 inch leader was best with floating bait. Both rainbow and chunky cheese were working.

How to catch stocked Rainbow Trout at a lake near you. This is a great way to get kids hooked on fishing and it is easy, cheap and fun. Get yourself the following list of items. A Sliding egg sinker 1/4 - 3/4 oz, a barrel swivel and a size 14-18 treble hook. If you already have a rod and reel you are almost set. Grab some four pound fluorocarbon line. Now grab a comfy chair and sit down to watch this video so you can get out there and catch some great Rainbow Trout Action this fall.
