K-Pump Tip
#1

Winter is now upon us so I thought to post some of the tips I came up with over a great summer of ‘tooning. The first is a simple way to keep from losing the tip of your K-Pump. Attach to the top some elastic cord using a tie-wrap and then connect the cord to the adaptor. Thus the two shall (almost) never be parted.

That is cool, but we have a small blue cap that is beveled. It came with the pump. Just press it against the valve. I don't think the cap comes off easy, or (knock on wood) it hasn't.

So you use a hose?

You're always one step ahead of me on tips FG. I recall getting a bag with attachments, but when I first bought the Assault XX, Dave showed me how to use the heater-hose tube to inflate with a K-Pump. I'll have to find that bag and see if I have a beveled blue attachment that will work.

Lost the bottom attachment once in one of my many boat bags, and topping off the 'toon was a real challenge I didn't want to repeat so came up with this idea.
