Mercury Marine Announces 2004 Boat Show Promotions
FOND DU LAC, WI--Mercury Marine recently announced one of the most aggressive boat show promotions in the company's history.
The promotions, which include cash rebates and extended warranties on select Mercury outboards, will be offered through April 15, 2004. Eligible engines must be warranty registered by April 30.
Under the promotions, nearly all outboard models 40 horsepower and greater--including FourStroke, OptiMax, carbureted and EFI two-stroke--will come with an additional two years of non-declining factory warranty. This is in addition to the one-to-three years of warranty protection already offered on these engines, and is a true manufacturer's warranty.
In addition, nearly all carbureted, EFI and OptiMax two-stroke engines are eligible for cash rebates.
Jack Malone, Mercury's vice president of Dealer & Retail Division Sales, says the company's 20004 Mercury Boat Show Promotions will help get the new year launched with a positive trend.
"We are very excited about these promotions," Malone said. "Consumers will be getting money back, plus an outstanding bonus warranty. The additional two years of protection pushes the warranty on some of our engines to five years, which shows just how confident we are in our products."
The promotions are additive, so consumers do not have to choose between the cash back or the additional warranty. Rebates on qualifying purchases will be mailed directly to the consumer when the warranty registration is received by Mercury Marine prior to the deadline.
