30 Pound Bull Reds Galore
#1
We went out Sunday, and pulled up to this little rig in 30' of water. We started catching white trout every cast on a chartreuse sparkle beetle. We must've caught over 100, but only kept about 25.

And every once in a while, all the lines would go crazy with Big Fat Bull Reds and Black Drum.

Normally fish this long are your basic 25 pounders but these were so fat being on the edge of the gulf. The water was brown on top, but everytime I put the boat into gear we were kicking up green water.

I love it when my anglers are doubled up

And the result

Size matters and these guys were big

Dan and Anthony swore I was going to break my $150. Falcon Lowrider in 1/2.
BTW, they have the fight on this big boy on a GoPro, I'll post it as soon as Anthony finishes editing.

At one point the Black Drum moved in and they were relentless.[Image: image_zps33ce84e5.jpg]

I know it's cold right now, but when these big high pressures move in, the water will be flat and once you're outside the river system, you'll be fishing shirtless.
