Looking for a bail arm spring. . .
#1
Instead of buying a new reel, I figured I'd try to dissect mine and repair it. I discovered that the broken piece is a bail arm spring. The reel is a Browning Graphite 812. I think Zebco makes Browning stuff now. I know it's not a high end reel; but I figured why not repair it? Anyone know where I can find parts online? or if there is a repair shop in SLC that has parts I can purchase?

Thanks!

Try to find a schematic of the reel online. Identify the part number and then put the part number in your search engine. you might also just try googling "Browning Graphite 812 bail spring" and see what pops up. I just replaced the bail springs on 3 old Mitchell Garcia 300's I had lying around. Nw they work beautifully and it only cost me about 10 bucks for all three.
