LOST: Fly Rod and Reel in Case

My neighbor’s son lost his fly rod outfit when the two of them were riding ATVs last week up near Bear River Lodge in the Uintas. They were riding on the North Slope Road, off the Mirror Lake Highway, and then up a side trail on the way to fish a lake when they lost the rod. It’s a four piece rod in one of those rod cases that holds the rod with the reel attached. The son had just bought the rod because he wanted to learn how to fly fish and although it was not a high end rod, it represents a substantial investment for a young man still in school. I’d love to get the rod back in his hands so he can get back to learning the sport. Please let me know if you happened to find the rod.
