My wife shot a WT buck about 5 minutes after shooting light opening morning. [

We were just a ways out of Kooskia. Not a very wide buck, but definitely the tallest buck we've taken up there. Fairly good mass as well. Not a bruiser, but a respectable buck, I think. We also filled 2 x-deer antlerless tags.[]
Then we had to race home to get them cut up and in the freezer so they didn't spoil. This heat we've been having is not very good for hunting or meat storage.[:/]
