Flaming Gorge

Where is a good place to ice fish on the gorge for burbot? I've fished Firehole and only caught 1 burbot and 1 rainbow.

Ice has only begun to form, and that's about the only fishable ice so far. As the ice forms further downlake it will open up some options and typically areas with better success. If it stays like this Lost Dog or the Confluence could be capped by Christmas, which can be really good for bows, burbot and pup lake trout. It gets good further downlake too, but it's a waiting game at this point.
