Strawberry 12/31/15
#1
Hit the Berry around 1:00 pm. Set up within spitting distance of the Strawberry Bay Lodge. Wifey got one on the ice (see photo of my awesome wife), then had a few more bites, but couldn't connect. Ice was about 9 inches thick about 100 feet out. We fished for about 2 hours total.

They wanted green/yellow tube jigs with a wax worm, jigged slowly in 8-10 fow.

We also hit the berry today. Arrived about 7 am. A balmy 25 below. Fished in about 14 to 18 FOW in strawberry bay. the fish liked anything green tipped with chub meat and any scent sauce. Most fish were right on the bottom. All were on the top end of the slot. No slot busters today. Early worm and I landed about 10 in 5 hours fishing. Had several more come unplugged. Couldn't ask for a better way to close out 2015.

We also hit the berry today. Not to much luck until the sun started sinking. Then the fish dived down to 15 feet and it was game on from there!

Snow packed as always but not bad. You can take anything down there. Heck I saw a guy in a camaro.
