Diamond fork river ???

Just was wondering if anyone has done a float trip down diamond fork? Buddy and I are hitting it this Thursday and we thought about it but with it being kinda a small stream would it even be worth it? Just to five you guys an idea of what we have I will be on a 7 foot pontoon and he will be in a kayak

I assume you don't mean float and fish it?

Sections of the Diamond Fork I am picturing, if you try to launch a 7ft pontoon it would be wedged between the banks. []

Yes I do mean float n fish. I know is a small river that's y I was asking if anyone has ever done it

I don't think it is possible, just wade it.

I fish up there quite a bit and I don't think there is enough flowing water to make it work for you and, as Remo noted, you can basically wade anywhere you need to go.

I suppose if you are committed to do it however, have at it. Watch out for the rattler hatch.

Thanks I don't think we will but it would be a good way to cover more water. Yea in really lucky to not run into any snakes up that way.yet. I know there everywhere out there. I'll post pics and let you guys know how it goes

The flows at that time were 90 CFS on the USGS gauge near Thistle, UT... right now it's a tad above 50 CFS... pretty skinny water at the moment.
