Willard 7/21
#1
Took the boat to Willard yesterday afernoon. Trolled for a while without much luck. Power squadron was out in full force. It was a hot day.

Ended up with a catfish and a nice 20 inch wiper. Both are back in the lake.

I forgot to ad that I tried looking for crappie for a bit. No luck. Jetskiers were riding around the flooded bushes I was wanting to target. Any tips on crappie at Willard?

Crappie this time of the year at Willard are tough fish to target, with any success. We caught one trolling cranks two weeks ago, on the West side of the lake but I'm sure it was just by chance. I was out there yesterday morning with limited success too, a few smaller wiper and one nice 21 incher. They seemed pretty scattered. Hardly anyone there the first thing in the morning but the Power squadron started showing up around 11am.
