Middle provo report 09/11

Fly fished middle Provo from 12:00 to 1:00. Only fished an hour because after losing 3 flies from the wind pushing my fly into a tree, I thought this outing was getting expensive. Caught one little brown on a caddis. Would have fished more but the wind was getting to be too much for this rookie.

Nice fish for a rookie. That is a great combo for the Provo. A little guy to keep you humble and a nice one to keep you coming back.

BTW it helps the fish if you wet you hands before you handle them.

Good report! Did you see anyone fishing with egg patterns, or is it too early for the brown trout to be spawning?
