Little River Inlet and ICW

I am coming to North Myrtle Beach next week and we plan to do some fishing in the Little River Inlet and ICW. We have a 16ft. boat and plan to put in at the bridge on SC 9 at 17, and we do not plan to go out of the inlet. My question is this, can someone give me some tips (places on the ICW and the Inlet, bait to use and where to buy it)?
