Weber Report
#1
Had a quick day on the river with a lot of frozen eyelets mixed in with some fish in the net. They were keyed in on the SOW, and usually on the bead head. Tried some other usual favorite flys, but they just wanted rainbow sows. Water is pretty open, but there is some ice along the bank so walk carefully, and be sure not to break through unaware.

Thanks for the report. Was the bead silver or brass? And what size if you don't mind sharing.

Silver bead and about a size 18. I didn't switch that size up too much though cause it was so cold. I do like using some bigger bugs in the winter that most don't use. They seem to actually take them more because they are more willing to use the energy they conserve for that bigger bug. Does that make sense? Anyway, I hope that help!
