Light Gear Meets Big Fish- San Miguel Island

We proudly team up with Marc Mills of Shimano onboard JJ Garrison’s custom-built, 65-foot Apollo for an overnight trip out of Santa Barbara to fish San Miquel Island, targeting the fish-rich, cold shallow waters outside of the California bite that circle around the western tip of the island. Fishing Shallow-water Halibut & Rockfish on ultra-light gear made for great winter bottom fishing!
