Galveston Bay Fishing Report 1-14-22
Saltwater Fishing | Texas Capt_Alan PM
Fishing has been really good this fall so far. We have had a couple of slow days with the low tides, fog and full moon this past week, but now the weather is suppose to cool down and that should help fishing a lot. I have been fishing the north end of our bay system using live shrimp under a popping cork. At the beginning of the outgoing or incoming tides have been best for us. Finding active bait and clean water has been key to catching more fish. Lots of speckled trout, red fish, drum, flounder and sheepshead are in abundance right now. I will be fishing this area until the end of Feb. then head back to lower Galveston. Until next time, see you on the water.
